Welcome! So glad you made it to my page. My name is Claudia Candelas-Prado, licensed clinical social worker in the Bay Area. Most people go through times in life of feeling emotional pain and wishing they could feel better. You may want to have more control over your emotions, function at a higher level, and have more satisfying relationships with those around you. I work with teens and young adults who are feeling this way, using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which allows clients to learn skills to manage painful emotions, improve day to day functioning, and create meaningful relationships in their life. DBT and CBT are effective for treating anxiety, depression, anger, relationship problems, trauma, and substance abuse. I offer virtual individual therapy sessions for young adults and adolescents located in California.
